Conference talk finished!
(actually it's 8 min too long, but my coauthor has the task of cutting so hopefully that will improve).

Vote!
I voted today. It took me about 15 min. No real lines to speak of. Let's hope it's that easy everywhere. But it's definately what everyone is talking about.
Yesterday - grading. This morning more grading. No real writing. Need to make a review sheet for my students' final and write the final and then I can be free of class problems and focus.

Two days - 0 Words
So what have I been doing instead of writing on the projects in the sidebar?
-cleaned kitchen from halloween party
-raked leaves
-prepped for Romans bible study
-made salad
-canvased for GOTV campaign
-obsessively checked political websites
-finished reading Three Cups of Tea
-procrastinated grading
Today's projects:
1) Finish conference talk - it's really close conceptually and just needs words on paper/stats made into graphs to be done.
-- I'm actually about 1500 words into this talk so my numbers should look really good all of a sudden if I follow through here.
2) Grade 10 papers so that I can assign final grades this evening when group talks are given.
3) Nag student re: Poster so that can get wrapped up as well.
4) Read paper that should help set up Internal grant
That's enough I think.
